GNSS SmartRover Hire Kits – configured and read-to-go!
SCCS has an extensive fleet of 900, 1200 and Viva SmartRovers for hire. Each instrument is checked and certified prior to hire, configured with a “SmartNet MAIN” style configuration-set. This config-set includes all the parameters and licenses necessary to connect to SmartNet. It is therefore advised that customers do not re-configured the settings within the ‘Interfaces’ page, as this is likely to result in connection issues and down-time.
In some cases the RX-antenna-Bluetooth connection may drop out, however this can be re-paired without altering the defined interfaces (see earlier blog post).
All Survey settings are user definable, however edits made to the interfaces are tricky to trace and often require a call to tech-support to amend. If the equipment does not connect, check the current ‘config-set’ or ‘RTK-Profile’ to ensure it has not been changed.
