What to expect at the school...
Simulated environments and stages of a construction site help students learn the theory behind their craft at the Leica Training School. Dedicated areas with authentic equipment provide training to better prepare people for real-world scenarios. The building has modern amenities, including wireless internet and presentation spaces. The seminar space includes a projector, lectern and meeting tables; two smaller classrooms offer large HD screens.
Dozer, Excavator and Grader Demonstration Arena
A 9000m2 sand area that is perfect for dozer, excavator and grader demonstration and training—the site can be used throughout the year because there are no digging depth or drainage issues.
Modern and fully furnished classrooms
Surveying Equipment
As technology advances rapidly, people are able to see demonstrations and trials of instruments that allow them to understand what is possible and how they may fit into current workflows. This exposure across all surveying equipment helps identify other solutions.
Skanska Engineering Technology Day
SCCS, recently hosted an Engineering Technology Day for Skanska, a multinational construction and development company, at the Leica Geosystems School in Shropshire, UK.
The event was a great success, with attendees praising the quality of the equipment and the expertise of the SCCS team.
