This year’s Networking on the Thames evening with the CICES proved again to be a great success. With sponsorship from SCCS and Maxim, the Mercedes sailed from Westminster Pier at 18:30 down the Thames past Greenwich turning around at the O2, before heading back up the river for a mid-way stop at Tower Pier (Tower of London), then continuing past the centre of London again this time passing parliament and heading up to the Albert Bridge in Chelsea.

The president Ian Cowling commented that it was a very pleasant way to spend an evening networking with friends and members of the institution on such a wonderful event, the perfect way to spend a summer evening.
