Machine Control Mobile Tech Support.

SCCS Machine Control division has seen strong growth over the last two years. This has been mostly due to our strong customer service ethic; so in order to maintain this level of service, we have a requirement for additional staff members who are willing to develop their skills in 3D and 2D machine control/guidance.

SCCS Machine Control division are currently working in a number of construction environments including tunnelling, concrete and asphalt paving, roads, rail and bulk earthworks. The successful candidate will have access to some of Europe’s largest projects, working alongside some of the most experienced engineering teams in the UK.

We are looking for Engineering Surveyors/Land Surveyors/Civil Engineers who have active field experience with:-

1. RTK/nRTK GNSS products.
2. Robotic Total Stations.
3. 3D Modelling Software for data prep. For example SCC, LSS, CAD etc.
4. “Some” knowledge of machine control/guidance.

Candidates must be hard working, self-motivated team players with excellent communication and problem solving skills, including the ability to train staff at every level. Technical Support - Office Based

SCCS are Leica Geosystems leading distributor of surveying equipment in the UK supplying many of the largest civil engineering and construction projects. We are currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our office based technical support department.
We want to provide our customers with the very best technical support we can and have built up a team of highly trained and respected field and office support staff. This role is to support GPS, total stations, automatic and digital levels, laser levels and other surveying equipment. You will also be involved in on-site and remote customer installation, training and product quality assurance testing.

Overall requirements include a relevant degree. This position would suit recent graduate with an engineering background. Experience in use of surveying equipment, site experience of civil engineering or land survey would be an advantage. You will need strong interpersonal skills and be autonomous and proactive in solving problems. You will also need good written and verbal communication skills.
