Windows Vista / Windows 7 – LGO installation problems?
The latest release of Leica Geo Office is Version 8.0. This however carries with it many licensing issues surrounding node-lock and server-based restrictions. If you have hired or purchased kit from us recently, and are running Vista/7, you can use LGO v4. The catch is that the old setup wizard is not supported by newer operating systems. The solution, ‘Open’ or ‘Explore’ the disk, navigating to the ENGLISH and COMBINED version, and simply run the Setup.exe file, avoiding the flawed installer wizard.
