GPS900 download – you need ActiveSync!
RX900 controllers, the prelude to CS09’s, do not accept CF-Cards – they only have internal memory. Therefore, to download data, you must use a GEV161 USB/serial cable plugged into the controller.
In order to create a “partnership”, you must not only run the cable driver (http://www.leica-geosystems.co.uk/en/19025.htm?q=gev161) but you must install Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 (http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-ActiveSync/3000-2094_4-10031823.html).
Once installed, a partnership is created, allowing you to mine into the internal memory, and copy off the files you need.
