GPS900 – a simple SmartRover
For surveyors new to Leica GNSS products, the slightly dated but nevertheless capable GPS900 SmartRover is a simple tool for quickly surveying or staking out points. Fuelled by SmartNet and equally as accurate as a 1200 or Viva, the scaled-down SmartWorx interface is more user-friendly and requires less training to get up and running. All 1200 codelists/format-files/coordinates systems are compatible with 900 Rovers, and by plugging the controller directly into a laptop (via ActiveSyn) data can be up/downloaded very easily. A reliable Network rover, its ease of use opens GNSS up to more disciplined than just a survey team.
