Lost the Bluetooth on your GPS SmartRover?
Like all Bluetooth devices, sometimes the pairing breaks between the controller and antenna, or your mobile phone for the internet; the BT light on the antenna turns green, and you lose the ‘wagon wheel’ on screen. The faster way we’ve found to regain said connection, if ‘searching’ for the antenna says “No antenna found, switch on”, is as follows:
From the main menu in SmartWorx, press the shift button, then F6-EXIT. This will revert you back to the windows desktop. If you hit Start (the wavey windows logo in the bottom left), then Settings, Control Panel and Bluetooth Device Properties. Using the chevrons at the bottom, “untrust” all the devices in the trusted column, then close that down, and reload SmartWorx from the desktop. In ‘Interfaces’, research for the antenna, and they’ll pair up straight away. An “Authentication request” might pop up; enter 0000 (standard for all Leica products) to establish the connection – it may pair up immediately.
