Covermeters

Covermeters are used when locating and identifying metal pipes, reinforced bars and other metals when constructing or maintaining structures. We supply and range of covermeters and elcometers together with the recommended search heads. Each covermeter can help avoid costly mistakes such as drilling in to objects like tendon ducts and rebars, which can blunt a drill bit and cause damage to the structure, but also pipes which could be very costly. When carrying out any type of maintenance work it is very important to understand the condition of the metal work and the potential of corrosion and the elcomter will identify the location, depth and orientation of the metal object so the correct level of work can be organised.
