Temperature
Thermometers are used for a huge variety of tasks within the surveying and construction industry and at SCCS we supply an extensive range of Thermometers to meet these requirements. Infrared Thermometers are available which are suited for taking non-contact temperatures including hot objects, chemicals, electrical objects and moving parts. Our K-Type options are suited for general purpose surface, liquid construction materials and also air and gas temperatures for which the correct probe must be fitted. We also supply our standard maximum/minimum Thermometer with large LCD display and a multifunctional wrist watch option with altimeter, barometer, Thermometer and other features.
Our K Type Thermometers, also known as thermocouples, produce a voltage when the temperature of the conductors increases. This type of thermometer are cost effective and self-powering so no batteries are needed. The K Type range is very practical and as such are widely used in both industry and science for many tasks in temperature measuring.
The thermometer Probes available work in conjunction with the K Type thermometers or thermocouples. The options available will allow for general purpose temperature measuring as well as specialised gas, air and liquid temperature reading such as oil and water.
