PDTM 1200 Product Information
What is Atlas Computers PocketDTM?
PocketDTM is the latest release of Atlas Computers field survey package, designed to support a broad range of devices including windows mobile loggers, Windows tablet PCs, and onboard systems, such as the Leica System 1200 using the RX1250 series logger. As a solution it compliments our office based SCC package, providing efficient stream-lined field to finish functionality in the most demanding of environments.
PocketDTM is designed around the following criteria;
Ease of use - PocketDTM has been designed to be very easy to use requiring minimal training by providing an intuitive and highly streamlined user interface. The number of steps required to complete survey, traverse, setting out, levelling and volume measurement tasks has been minimised and the language used through out kept simple. The highly customisable user interface is based around the Windows GUI, familiar to most surveyors and engineers.
PocketDTM will also be very familiar to existing SCC users, the program on which it is based, as it shares a similar user interface and design philosophy.
Best quality solution - While the PocketDTM software is extremely easy to use, it offers a breadth and depth of functionality found only on desktop products until very recently. This includes full on the fly surface modelling, least squares network adjustment, GPS reduction and transformation, and analysis of complex road alignments.
Support for leading edge survey technology, including full robotic surveying on the Leica System 1200 TPS, and combined total station, GPS, and levelling within a single job.
Support for working with demanding survey specifications in a streamlined manner. This includes support for multiple feature libraries for different survey applications, with upload of libraries and symbols from SCC. Hierarchical feature library organisation allows you to quickly pick from very large feature libraries by group and category, favourites, and recently used.
Standard libraries and configuration files to allow you to rapidly accomplish most survey tasks without extensive setup. This includes full QBN and DCC topographic survey libraries.
