EZiCAT i550 Product Information

The EZiCAT i550 cable detector contains the same functionality as the EZiCAT i500; however it offers the added benefit of service depth estimation, when used in conjunction with the EZiTRACE signal generator or Sonde in 8/33 kHz mode.

The new EZiCAT i550 cable locator from Cable Detection Ltd has been designed to reduce human error during the cable location process. The error reduction process is helped by the automatic controls plus the detection mode 'Auto Mode'.

The EZiCAT i550 cable locator is a precise and reliable instrument and will prevent damage to underground services. The instrument can also benefit from active signal tracing when used with the EZiTRACE signal generator.

Bluetooth Technology: The EZiCAT i550 cable locator can be supplied with the added benefit of Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Bluetooth technology allows the EZiCAT i550 to integrate seamlessly with mobile mapping technology to log survey data, which again reduces the risk of human error.
